Hello! I'm Jesse. I think my love of coding came from the website Scratch. I was very active on there when I was around 8-10 years old. If you had the misfortune of knowing me on there, I'm so sorry. Years later though, I started learning HTML and CSS, and now I'm here on Neocities!
I like to draw, mainly digitally, when I'm not experiencing severe months-long art block. A lot of the graphics on my site are drawn by me! I make them in Procreate, using an MS Paint brush that I downloaded. I like that crunchy look.
Another one of my hobbies is collecting things. I get a lot of my stuff from thrift stores and antique malls. I collect merchandise for things I enjoy, like Looney Tunes, Garfield, Sesame Street, My Little Pony, Animaniacs, and more. I highly recommend you go to your local thrift stores, antique malls, and flea markets (both indoor and outdoor ones) if you're looking for cool stuff!
And finally, my biggest special interest of all time is children's media. Most of the stuff I like falls under the umbrella of kid's media, or relates to it in some way. The world is scary and complicated, so surrounding myself with childhood nostalgia is how I cope. I like bright colors, and things that are fun and happy and silly.
